Amusement park dream vs. reality

Postby nightmaretony » Wed Jun 16, 2010 7:22 pm

Ride nut dream: to spend a night inside a secret apartment inside an amusement park, lulled to sleep listening to the coasters.

REALITY: not used to city noises, coasters, screams and music means one doesn't get ANY sleep till 4 am! (only got 5 hours, but it gave me a work jump which was the entire point of it all :)

Well, I've seen a ride op sleeping on the job, so I'd assume it's plausible to fall asleep in an apartment tucked away somewhere.

yup, but for one NOT used to the park noise and tired as heck, it wasnt so great a scene. Was a kewl favor and it got me the work jump that I needed to do but DANG. Am too used to my farm. A songbird at midnight or a coyote chorus is the sounds I hear at night. No roads, no freeways. And the plopped down into noise. A fun time.
